ADG Knowles McGill Visits Dryden Club

ADG Knowles McGill began his talk by bringing greetings from District 5550 Governor Nancy Morris.
Knowles indicated that he would have been here earlier but because we have so many programs booked ahead, it was difficult to get a time that would work for both parties.

In addition, the excitement of coming caused him some discomfort in his chest on Sunday that led him to hospital..and eventually to Dryden for a scan. The scan determined that he may have a few blood clots that will need attention.
McGill congratulated the club on all the good work it does, especially with the proceeds from Radio bingo and thanked the club for allowing the Sioux Lookout club to share in the proceeds which allowed them to more than meet their commitment to their new hospital.
Knowles also highlighted a number of other programs that are available to us, some of which we are already involved in such as Shelterbox , RYLA, and the Friendship Exchange.
McGill encouraged us to go to the District website for some great Rotary information as well as the link to register for the District conference which will see the attendance of RI President John Kenny
