At its March 1st, meeting The Rotary Club of Dryden members approved the giving out of $53,480 to various projects in the communities of Northwestern Ontario.

Communities such as Ear Falls, and Ignace, as well as Dryden, received money. Most of the funds are raised through Rotary Radio Bingo proceeds. The money is deposited to the Dryden Rotary Charitable Foundation. A  Board of Trustees governers the charity. All are members of the Rotary Club. Two or three times a year the Trustees review the applications for funding and bring a list like the one above to the full membership for approval.

Adventures in Technology, MUNA, and Adventures in Human Rights are all Rotary programs for which Dryden youth are sponsored.  Tamarac House is a short-term residence attached to the Thunder Bay Health Sciences Centre for parents to visit their children experiencing cancer.
