NatashaRotarian Natasha Lovenuk Markham recently addressed Dryden Rotary explaining the review process she helped develop along with task team member Joe van Koeverden and others to examine what Dryden Rotary does and how it aligns with Rotary International’s Strategic Plan.

The process included an examination of the local club’s own strengths and weaknesses with respect to both opportunities and threats to its viability.

The Dryden Rotary Club’s Vision and Mission is described as: “A local network of inspired individuals who translate their passion of relevant social causes into actions that improve the quality of life in the Dryden area and communities worldwide.”

Supporting the vision and mission are 3 priorities, 7 Areas of Focus, and 24 Goals.

The task team’s next step is to engage more Club members to develop action plans for those 24 Goals.  A planning meeting has been set for January 24, 2012 that will involve collaborative teams to identify the specific detail for each goal plus timelines and milestones required to accomplish the goals.
