Ember McKillop of the Green Party of Canada was the fourth and final candidate in this Federal election to speak to the Dryden Rotary club members. Using a slide presentation, she said that the Green Party is "not just about the environment" and then went on to describe in some detail their full Party platform.

An Example of the Green Party's Platform on Good Government

Compared to the three major parties McKillop is operating her campaign on a shoe string budget of $500.00. She has attended the debates and distributed 50 signs she had made. She expressed her dissapointment in not even getting a mention in the Thunder Bay newspaper report on  the Dryden "All Candidates Event".

Many Rotarians were so impressed with her pluk they gave her a small cash contribution to help defray some of her cost.
