Wilmer (Willie) Cheslock became a Rotarian on January 1, 1998, having been proposed by Rtn Larry Neely. He passed away unexpectedly October 19, 2015 of a type A aortic dissection or “tear” in his aorta.

Born July 3, 1953, Willie is survived by his wife Freda, daughters Rhiannon and Kelsey (a former exchange student to Belgium), granddaughters Hinako and Summer and his mother-in-law Merveline Brown of Fort Frances, ON, as well as many other relatives.
 
He was predeceased by his son Blake in December, 2012.
 
He was known for his work with the Lutheran Church, the Rotary Club, especially the Club’s annual fund raiser “The Turkey Shoot” and as a caring investment advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns.
