At some point shortly after joining Rotary each new member provides the club with a brief presentation of their life story. This is called a “vocational talk”. Thus on Wednesday December 16th Rtn. James Kroeker was called upon to share his “vocational talk.”

The next 13 minutes and 49 seconds were an entertaining and insightful romp into James’ life from the history of his forefathers...to growing up just outside Winkler MB ...to going to post-secondary school in USA…to coming back to Winkler area and meeting wife Kate at the “Roland Riviera”...to marriage and three children and an ultimatum given to him by Kate re long working hours...to the move to Dryden...and work here with Wabigoon Lake First Nation for 25 years...to retirement...and grand-parenting...to hobbies...and now life in Rotary.
