David Benham was sponsored by DHS and the Rotary club to attend Adventures in Agriculture in Regina.

The Program ran from November 25th-29th, 2009 in Regina. Twenty high school students entering Grade 11 or 12 in September who were sponsored by Rotary Clubs in Rotary Districts 5550, 5360 or 5370 participated

It was held during the internationally acclaimed Canadian Western Agribition Livestock Show and Sale held annually in Regina.

It provides students who attend an opportunity to visit Agribition, tour major agriculture based industries, and participate in networking and information sessions conducted by agriculture industry professionals and business leaders.

Among the visits were a trip to Ralph MacKay who make blades for cultivation,
the Weyburn Inland terminal with its grain silos and chemicals, University of Regina
Biology department where they checked out the lab that works on genetically modified food, and a John Deere and Red Head Equipment dealership.

David lives on a farm in the Minnitaki area and helps raises a few head of cattle.
