As you know last night was the Paul Harris Dinner where we honoured three members, as "Paul Harris Fellows" for their contributions over the past year to The Rotary Foundation.

Sometimes as a new Rotarian it takes a bit of time to figure out how things work and what they mean. This is doubly true if you take on responsibility for the club's website. In fact I went to last night's dinner not knowing quite what to expect.

As a result something came together for me. If you look in the bottom of the fourth column on this web page you will see two download documents:

TRF Global Contribution Form and TRF Direct Brochure for Canada.

I had never opened them to see what they were. TRF never meant anything. Now I know the letters stand for The Rotary Foundation.

As you know this is Rolly Swan's responsibility and he is still looking for members for the next five year rotation TRF donors.

However, this is not what I personally wanted. I was looking for a way to do it through a monthly contribution plan and that is what TRF Direct is.

So, although I hope Rolly finds his other donor participants, if there are others who would prefer to use a monthly contribution plan to become a Paul Harris Fellow both of the TRF documents in the "Downloads" box provide alternatives you might wish to consider. They have been put there by District 5550.
