Here is what happened when District Governor Elaine Thompson, met Elaine Thompson Rotarian extraordinaire of the Rotary Club of Dryden.
Not only do they share the same name but they also share the dubious distinction having been the spouse of a Past District Governor. In the case of our current DG Elaine, her husband Ed Thompson was District Governor in 2013-14 and the case of our Dryden Elaine, her husband Clare Thompson was District Governor in 1996-97.
