Dryden Rotary’s Strategic Plan is now a year old. As Dryden Rotary’s Public Relations Director, Natasha Lovenuk Markham talked about how the 7 annual goals and 22 action items are helping to guide the agendas of current and future Rotary presidents.
 

Briefly summarized the annual goals are:

1.     International Service – supporting Rotary international Projects and identify a signature project in addition to Polio Plus.

2.     Regional Service – supporting Rotary Park, regional programs and work collaboratively with Aboriginal communities.

3.     Fundraising – set an annual fundraising target and plan accordingly.

4.     Meeting Activities – foster club innovation and activities, and improve member recruitment and retention.

5.     Outside Activities – offer leadership opportunities and create a balance in all avenues of service and fellowship.

6.     Brand Support – Unify image and brand awareness.

7.     Promotional Activities – public relations

Natasha also introduced the PR Toolkit which standardizes how we use the Rotary logo in our activities. Additional tools include: a new event banner that can be used for community events; Lunch coupons that can be used when considering a potential new member; and an updated brochure about Rotary.
