Lang was accompanied by Don Bernosky, Executive Director of Innovation and Skills Development, Janet Arinobu, assistant to Executive Director, and Angelina Anderson - director of Dryden, Sioux Lookout & Red Lake campuses. The college has also just opened a new campus in Wawa.

This is Patricia Lang’s last year as President. She is  completing 10 years at the helm of the College.

Kang said that the Dryden campus alone had 180 graduates from post secondary programs. One of the programs she is most proud of is the nursing program run in conjunction with Lakehead University and said that it would not have happened without the support of the hospital, city, and both federal and provincial governments

Presently, there are 12 - 14 post secondary programs that can be taken at the Dryden campus.

Twenty per cent of Confederation College students are aboriginal

Lang ended her talk by asking Rotarians for suggestions as to where employers felt the College needed to focus over the next few years. Some suggestions were website and app development skills, games development and areas to support municipal  management.
