Dryden hunter and entrepreneur, Marc Mcnay, owner of the Real Deal shared the story of his rise to prominence as a promoter of wildlife hunting.
Marc began his ascent after his visit to South Africa on a hunting expedition where he created a YouTube video which put a positive spin on the role hunting plays in the economy of South Africa and the conservation of wildlife.

Mcnay described how until recently, South Africa had a major poaching problem - where the animals are taken only for their horns or other body parts. Now, however, many farmers now protect animals for hunters so hunting parties from other countries can travel to South Africa to shoot game. This helps the economy by putting dollars into the pockets of locals.

Since then Marc has opened a retail store for hunting and trapping supplies located at the corner of Casimir and Queen.

He has also started a Facebook page for friends and family to follow his outdoor antics and an Outfitter Website to promote his hunting expedition business in North Western Ontario. Marc also does all his own trail camera/tree stand/blind set videoing of the hunting experience.

All of this has turned into a National show airing coast to coast in Canada on Wild TV and the U.S. on the Pursuit Channel plus worldwide on many digital platforms.

On the “Real Deal”, besides outdoors/hunting antics, Mcnay shares recipes, ideas and stories. McNay concluded with the comment that he is just a regular guy who spends as much time as possible in the outdoors filming and hunting.
