Each year Rotary International celebrates its founding on February 23rd. Locally, this year the Rotary Club of Dryden celebrated by holding a Rotary Day at Dryden High School (DHS).

The DHS foods' class prepared 500 cupcakes which were distributed to students, along with a flyer highlighting the club's youth programs. The event took place in "Student Square" inside the front entrance.

Programs sponsored by Dryden Rotarians are Annual Graduation scholarships, the annual public speaking and music competition, Winnipeg's Model United Nations Assembly or MUNA for short, Adventures in Agriculture Program, Adventures in Technology Program, participation in both the long term and short term International Student Exchange program; the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards held each year at Clear Lake, Manitoba and Sioux Lookout Rotary's Wilderness Camp experience to name just some of the programs.
