Adrienne Duke accepted a cheque from our Rotary Club yesterday. The donation was money raised at our July 1st Lucky Duck Race.
This donation helps get Special Olympics bowling athletes to Regional Games in Thunder Bay each spring.
This year Adrienne took 26 athletes and six helpers to the Regional Games in March. They came home with five gold medals, five silver, and four bronze. Out of the five gold medalists, three have been recognized as possible Provincial attendees in May of 2027 in Oshawa, ON.
