RYLA leadership experience appreciated by Dryden youth

At Dryden Rotary's September 12th meeting, we were graced with the presence of the 5 students that we sponsored for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) this year.

RYLA students 2012Four students attended the Senior camp and one the Junior camp.  Both leadership camps were held at Clear Lake, MB in August.


Each of the senior students described in brief their time at camp, some of the activities, the friendships developed, and the self confidence they gained.


They all thanked Rotary for the wonderful opportunity, and a couple also had become aware of the youth exchange program and were looking at that for next year.
