Sunday morning September 1, 2019, dawned wet and cool for the Dryden's Young Professionals' Second Annual We Run This City Half-Marathon and 10 km road races. The weather, however did not deter the the twenty-three runners in the half-marathon or the forty-six participants in the 10 km race.
In the half-marathon, David Prince place first over-all with a time of 1:33:15 while Marissa Lavoie was the first woman in a time of 2:02:11 good enough to place fifth over-all. Both runners were from Thunder Bay.
In the 10 kilometer run/walk Jaime Seeley of Dryden placed first in a time of 42:08 while Maureen Mills of Calgary was the first woman to cross the finish line in a time of 48:40.
